Leading expert on amiibo | Nintendo Collector | StormwindGames on YouTube | Disney Fanatic | Computer Science | Ask me about the MagicBand+/DisneyBand+
On this day, four years ago, I created a video on every Switch game with amiibo support. Today, I have done an updated version up to and including The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

With the funeral and everything leading into it, seems like I've missed quite a lot for gaming and Disney news. But I got to see King's Island on the way out of Ohio, so that was nice.
And yes, I would consider Pirates Adventure to be on par with the big interactives for both of those Universal properties. Heck, it would be better than most Power-Up Band interactives if Disney would ever fix the broken paths for Pirates Adventure.
While Hollywood Studios has arguably the highest usage of the MagicBand+ in terms of attractions, if there's going to be something using the MB+ or PlayDisney app for interactions in Monstropolios, it needs to be on par with Pirates Adventure in MK.
If Disney wants that "paid interactive" money, then they need something from this decade that competes with the interactives for Super Nintendo World and the Gen 2 Harry Potter wands.
Playing Tomodachi Life and one of the Miis said "Did you know 'I worked on Ducktales' is closely related to amiibo."
May not be able to fit Ducktales World Showcase Adventure into the initial prompt box, but the game sure hit that spot on.
So I'm out of state for a funeral for my wife's family. Some of them were looking through photos and found a photo of my wife and her sister at Disney ages ago.
Trying to figure out where they were standing.
Cropped the photo below cause my phone keeps trying to AI enhance it.
Listening to other hold loops makes me miss Disney's loop. Just having essentially a "Radio Disney" is far better than having to listen to the same few lines that either thank me for holding or an ad for whatever I'm calling anyways.
Good.
From what I heard, the person at the front of the line for the Lorcana Wilds Unknown release had been there since like 6pm the evening before. That's about 15 hours before Springs even opened for the pre-release. And I'm sure its the same for the Pin drops.
NEW: Disney Springs has announced it will enforce no overnight queuing for Pin Tuesday and other merch events. The parking garages will open at 7am, along with other operational improvements

@ScottGustin I still haven't quite adjusted to the gameplay, but the overall refurb was *definitely* needed.
So many little fixes like the ceiling panels no longer being gross and the ride vehicles no longer spinning out of control on the incline are very welcome additions.
@floridathrills Granted, wouldn't be the first time guests could get info before CMs. Even as an professional intern, there was info I'd see online before seeing it in my inbox.
@floridathrills That's a fair point!
Definitely will be interesting to see how they go about it. Be kind of silly to hype it up if it's just the coords and leaders still being the main ones getting more than alerts.
@ScottGustin Disney's been hiring software engineers experienced in Machine Learning/AI for over a year now. Makes sense they'd try to do something guest facing with the ones they hired.
@ScottGustin I saw a photo that showed an elaborate family display between two rooms. The assumption from the comments was that it was the same family in both rooms, but it was still way overboard on the "door" decorations.
Apparently the proper Movie Under the Stars screen at Boardwalk has something wrong with it. They were instead using a regular TV screen to show Toy Story 2.
Disney's Cool Kids Summer billboards have started appearing on I-4. Saw ones for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live and the Mando Missions as well, but couldn't get a photo of them.
