I should also add nowhere in Scripture does it state anal sex with a woman is sin. So If I am using eisegesis, so are you.

However, God has shown us enough that we are able to discern His desires in this category as well as look to nature itself and look at how it is unnatural. We don't need a Law to know its wrong.

We are called to seek after God’s character. He reveals His character in His Law.

Seeking righteousness is not Pharisaical.

If we have to use depraved means to begin the sexual process then maybe it’s best to not begin and pray that God would help build a holy ramp to intimacy.

@bradwritesscifi Furthermore, oral is a huge transmitter of diseases. Oral on a women is the number one cause of throat cancer. 70% of Americans have herpes. It transmits from mouth to genitals.

You don’t have to have a depraved sex life either. Like 40% of children contract cold sores (herpes)

I also have met many people that have professed Christ for many years longer than I yet they only profess with their mouth and not in action.

By your logic depending on how we are born opens us up to certain sin. Not a good door to open.

@bradwritesscifi @Italian347 As a Protestant I agree with the Catholics on this. The modern world is only flabbergasted at the concept of oral being sin because we all learned how to have sex through pornography.

We were designed to come together in a certain way. Let’s not defile the marital bed.

@TruthiestHorse @_TenTonTony_ @Eric_Conn I would say there is truth to your thoughts on this. I don't think it would be a very moral society that killed every kid that disobeyed. Nor do I think it would be a moral society that hit a kid for every single thing they did wrong.

@TruthiestHorse @_TenTonTony_ @Eric_Conn Personally, I think that is the only time to do physical discipline. If you want to hurt your child then you need to figure out where that anger is coming from and get right with God. We should discipline after the anger has subsided.

So they use their knowledge to defeat the text rather than submit to it. This is very popular when it comes to LGBTQ and gender roles within the Church.

@TruthiestHorse @_TenTonTony_ @Eric_Conn Our job is to bend our lives around the text, not the text around our opinions and desires. There are good hermeneutical principles that protect us from putting too much of ourselves into the Bible when we study.
