Evergreen tweet.
We have an ultimate race going on with production filled with talented people/content creators as hosts and it took less than another month to start talking about:
"where are the ffxiv content creators"
Lmao
@SpicyBaconPig@KateacIysm It’s unlikely but never say never. The writing team has shown they can bring long absent characters back into the fold for good narratives. Personally if they were going to, I think it’s entirely too soon. And they’d need to have an excellent way to show his development.
@Dragosbeard@delmontyb If what he says is harmful to the brand he is engaging with, they do have a stake in what is said. Even if you don't personally see that connection with the creator in question, there are people who will make that association.
@KimSooyoun75030@delmontyb Right. If this was a case of Square patrolling lots of streams and issuing bans left and right, that’s different. But this is an isolated incident with circumstantial evidence for why it happened.
@delmontyb And is this really Square monitoring the big streams 1984 style? Or is it much more likely the user in question was reported for abhorrent behavior and they investigated?
@delmontyb Feels pretty disingenuous to not make your own argument, but here’s a rebuttal.
This is one isolated incident of it happening. That doesn’t equate to an epidemic of content creators getting banned for sharing opinions.
