Water Rescue
Officers responded to Kelly Lake ย after receiving report of a child swimming alone in the water.
When they couldnโt coax him to shore, #StPetePD Officer Jake Yancey entered the water with a floatation device and rescued him.

A 15-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle when he attempted to cross at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and 25th Street North shortly before 10 a.m. today. He is being treated for injuries at All Children's Hospital. The motorist remained on scene. The road remains closed

This morning, Bay Area law enforcement agencies rode 75 miles to honor Fallen Officers & their surviving loved ones. The ride traveled the Trail from St. Pete to Tarpon, stopping to honor Fallen Heroes across Pinellas County. ๐
