A failing bridge in the Folsom area has been replaced a month ahead of schedule!
The $1.5 million St. John Church Road bridge has been enhanced with stronger, more durable materials and drainage improvements. The bridge is expected to serve the Folsom community for 100 years!
President Cooper & Parish Councilmembers cut the ribbon on an enhanced Faubourg Lift Station in the Covington-Madisonville area. The lift station will streamline operations & enhance wastewater treatment for 5,000 surrounding residents.

Our Public Work crews never stop in their efforts to improve our community!
This week, our crews improved roadways and drainage as well as conducted grass cutting and litter pickup across St. Tammany.
The Tammany Trace Bridge over the Abita River will be replaced with a new, sturdier $1.585 million bridge.
Construction will begin on March 30 with the area from Gordon Ave. to the Abita Springs Trailhead being closed.
The bridge is anticipated to be completed by late 2026.

Whether its repairing a pot hole or improving your drainage, our crews ensure our 4,569 roads stay in shape!

The replacement of the U.S. 11 Overpass in Slidell over the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks has advanced with a $10 million federal allocation through Community Project Funding secured by Congressman Steve Scalise, Parish President Mike Cooper announced Tuesday.
