In Science this week, we have been testing the absorbency of different paper towels and tissues to see which would be the best to dry a spilt drink. We tested how much water it would hold and how dry the table looked after. #teamstphilips@StPhilipCEAP

Today, we have been learning how to draw our own maps of the local area as far as the orchard. We made a class messy map, mapping out our walk, and then drew our own on paper. #teamstphilips@StPhilipCEAP
Today we read ‘Wolves’ by Emily Gravett to launch our next English topic. They children generated adjectives to describe wolves and then learned to draw a picture of a wolf. @StPhilipCEAP#teamstphilips

We have had a brilliant start to Year 2. This week, we have been learning lots on the glockenspiel. We learnt the song “I Wanna Play in a Band”, and also a quick version of “We Will Rock You” by Queen as we were so fantastic!
