You have to watch every second of this to fully appreciate it. Genuinely one of the best tributes to Dolly Parton ever.

Charles “Peanut” Tillman explains why he joined the FBI after retiring from the NFL

“I always wanted to play football, always since day one. And I said if football don't work out, I'mma go join the Army. I'm gonna be like my dad. It worked out great for him. I had a great life”

“I get a scholarship. I guess I'm not going to the military right after high school. I play my four years. If I don't get drafted, I'll go in as an officer. I'll go do some Special Forces stuff. Try to do something cool and fun because I really like guns and shooting and stuff. Well, I get drafted. Alright. Let's see how long I play, and I'll just kind of go from there. I played 13 years”

“Then when I retired, I still wanted to serve. If my agent was here, he would tell you the day I was interviewing him, he was like, ‘What do you want to do after football?’ I said, ‘Probably federal law enforcement.’ It was something that I always wanted to do. I always wanted to do public service. I wanted to do my part and serve”

“It wasn't in the military, but I did it in a different way by serving in the FBI. It was an amazing experience. I've worked with some amazing people. We've done some amazing things. You all have no idea what that organization does that you don't know about, and they're saving lives every single day”

[Jonathan Lucroy @JLucroy20]

I played for this man for 3 years. He came to my wedding and traveled to watch me play in the big leagues many times. He gave me a D1 scholarship when no one else wanted a 5-11 175lb catcher from Florida. He meant more to me than any other coach I’ve ever played for, and that is saying a lot.

If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have had the mental toughness, mentality, or grit this game demands of you in order to play at this baseballs highest level.

I have a quote I like to tell my players.

“If you don’t like it, play better.”

The game of baseball is strictly merit based. You have to earn it. Even at the youth level.

Ages 12 and below, I’m good with everyone playing and learning the game. Above that age, then you have to earn your spot. There is a point where the player has to choice to work for it, or not. Puberty is the time that it generally happens in my opinion.

As a side note, if your kid isn’t the best player when he’s 12, don’t panic. Development takes time, and once puberty hits, the physical change happens quick.

RIP Coach Robe.

What a brilliant idea. Bacchus has invited @NFL HOF’er @drewbrees to ride again. Not as King, but on his own float. He has accepted the invitation. He will be appropriately riding on float number 9. So cool. Taking the already great Bacchus parade, and Mardi Gras in general, up to an entirely new level

[Preston Guy @PGuy77]

There’s a lot of reasons Drew Brees is an all-time great simply for his play on the field.

But coming in to a devastated city in the wake of Katrina and giving a hopeless franchise hope for the first time will always be his greatest accomplishment.

Very few NFL players have had a similar impact on their city.

[General Mike Flynn @GenFlynn]

We are living in what I call the 3rd Arc of American history, a period as consequential as the American Revolution and the U.S. Civil War. Today, the threats we face are not only abroad but also here at home: infiltration, radical ideologies, and forces that seek to dismantle the very foundation of our Constitutional Republic.

I’ve spent years at war overseas, but I have come to realize the most significant battle is right here, fought not with weapons, but with courage, conviction, and truth.

This is not just the @realDonaldTrump ‘s fight, nor the fight of those who have worn the uniform.

Each of us has a responsibility. Don’t simply ask what others are doing, ask yourself:

What am I doing to serve my country now?

This is an existential moment for America. New York City, our Nation’s bellwether, is a warning sign. Our borders, our sovereignty, and our freedoms are all under attack. But we are not powerless. We must come together, take decisive action, and safeguard the future of our beloved nation.

The future of America will not be decided by the deep state, the globalists, or foreign powers; it will be decided by We the People.

[General Mike Flynn @GenFlynn]

To all foreign leaders watching America right now:

Do not confuse our internal battles with weakness. What you're seeing is not collapse, it's correction. This is how a free people govern themselves: out in the open, messy, and unafraid to confront corruption at the highest levels.

We have an accountability crisis, and we will fix it.

@POTUS @realDonaldTrump is leading this effort, not as a politician but as the chief law enforcement officer of the nation.

America's strength has never been in silence or secrecy, but in our commitment to truth, justice, and self-correction.

That process is underway.

This is a brilliant and succinct roadmap of Hillary Clinton’s journey from small time political con artist to failed presidential candidate and treasonous conspirator. How this criminal still walks free among us is a sad indictment of our two-tiered justice system.

Lock her up.

Mike Rowe: “We’ve been telling kids for 15 years to learn to code.”

“Well, AI is coming for the coders.”

“It’s not coming for the welders, the plumbers, the steamfitters, the pipefitters, the HVAC, or the electricians.”

“In Aspen, I sat and listened to Larry Fink say we need 500,000 electricians in the next couple of years—not hyperbole.”

“The BlueForge Alliance, who oversees our maritime industrial base—that’s 15,000 individual companies who are collectively charged with building and delivering nuclear-powered subs to the Navy … calls and says, we’re having a hell of a time finding tradespeople. Can you help?”

“I said, I don’t know, man … how many do you need? He says, 140,000.”

“These are our submarines. Things go hypersonic, a little sideways with China, Taiwan, our aircraft carriers are no longer the point of the spear. They’re vulnerable.

“Our submarines matter, and these guys have a pinch point because they can’t find welders and electricians to get them built.”

“The automotive industry needs 80,000 collision repair and technicians.”

“Energy, I don’t even know what the number is, I hear 300,000, I hear 500,000.”

“There is a clear and present freakout going on right now. I’ve heard from six governors in the last six months. I’ve heard from the heads of major companies.”

I'm pissed off today. I've largely been off social media for the past 4-5 days but I simply cannot fathom the extent to which the West is keen on destroying itself. And I say this as the author of The Parasitic Mind and Suicidal Empathy. Wake the F**K up.
