Cancelling Parandur is super unfortunate at this stage.

Thousands of acres of land has already been acquired and many people got moved away from their ancestral lands.

Now with 4000 hectares of land parcel, what will the government do?

This also burst the Real estate Bubble

@vazhavandan Brother, the entire Parandur problem was because people protested to handover their lands for the development of airport and it destroys Farming.

How does changing that to a reservoir solves that?😶

Now TN government has to farm the entire 4000 acres itself.

The fallout from this decision is gonna affect a lot of people native to the place, lot of money burned by the government for acquiring the Lands, many many people invested lakhs in Real estate looking for returns and commercial opportunities. Political gains will be much less.

Happened to me too. Not even sure who was it. Probably some MLA or minister. I was in front of Old Chrompet GH, wanted to take a U turn to return back to place. I was told no u turn till I reached Tambaram. I was in Chrompet, but for u turn, I had to go to Tambaram, still didn’t

Allow me to take U turn. Thats where I know i had to protest, I protested the police officer there, cracked the Chennai yin Ellai varai odinen joke, he too inside knew it was overboard, he asked me to wait for 5 mins. He will allow me to take the U turn. Never seen this happening

China led going into the closing metres, & Shravani came from behind to pass China’s anchor just 0.10 seconds ahead.

I was holding my breath watching that final lap. It didn’t look even conceivable that she would be able to catch up.

But Shravan wasn’t willing to see finishing second to a powerhouse like China as inevitable & acceptable.

She didn’t see the yawning gap as an impossibility.

She was practising the art of the possible…

Giving up wasn’t acceptable.
