Here are the games I've beaten in 2025. I've never bothered making a list on Twitter because I'll probably forget about it. But we'll see.

And this was a close victory. It'd take a lot more practice before I can comfortably beat this guy. Then there's all the rest of Wily's fortress.

It took just under 49 minutes of constant trial and failure for me to beat the Yellow Devil the non-glitch way.

Problem is, that was outside the game. I used the Legacy Collection challenge mode to practice. To do it in game, you only get a few chances before a game over.

@FinalFantasyJP Of course there is the Big Bridge from FFV, but my favourite is the possible homage to that one. The big bridge from FFVIII.

@16bitnostalgia It can be both. To me it's a masterpiece, but I also think it gets basically nothing but the highest praise whenever people talk about it. For a lot of people this just won't ring true and it must seem overrated.

@kryfton I like them, but I was all about Tekken 3. After transferring over from the Saturn in late 98 that was the latest one and I played it soooo much.

Still probably my favourite Tekken, but I like 5 quite a lot.

@BigLipRadio What interests me most is when somebody really likes what they are playing. I might only be slightly interested in playing the game, but I like to see why others love it.

I've been failing to enjoy Mega Man for years but it's interesting to see what others find so good about it.

@LonelyGoomba I like this game. It's fun with a great soundtrack. Shame it's impossible to fully complete due to a bug. I always thought I just needed to do something very particular to get that golden collectible. But no, it's just a bug.

@ZackAttackP1 I like it a lot. I prefer the gameplay in other titles but the world, characters, music, graphics, are all top-notch in FF9. I like the chocobo hot and cold mini game, but not so much the card game.

The gameplay isn't bad either, just not my favourite.

@FFANTASYacc And to be honest you definitely should've had some death threats, I tried my best to convince them but they merely passed on some sagacious words about love, tolerance, peace on earth and goodwill towards all fans.

@FFANTASYacc Bunch of blockheads then. But I'm sure we can both agree that the Kingdom Hearts fans are best fans. Nothing bad to say about those them. It's criminal that they get treated so bad, but they'll turn the other cheek because they are humble, forgiving, and understanding.

@kryfton @sincespacies There's no lawsuit, Nomura just appears in a black hooded robe, attacks out of nowhere with his belt-blade and the Shimomura battle music kicks in. If the new guy holds his own and impresses Nomura, he is spared and given secret zipper knowledge that few mortals can comprehend.
