Excellent example of 高級黑 . You've all heard that Chinese beating around the bush (拐弯抹角) a lot. When 拐弯抹角 becomes an art form, 1 can flatter a person on the surface while assassinate his character 表面吹捧，實質詆毀. The person took the hit but couldn't show his anger.
