My favorite band, Toto, and my favorite guitar player, Steve Lukather, coming back to Japan next year for their 50th anniversary. Looks like only two shows so far... Hope they come to Hiroshima again. Luke's the G.O.A.T.!
Post Meeting Follow up: It was awesome! Seeing videos of the history, interviews, and then hearing talks about the past, present and future of the Church in Japan, it was such an inspiration. Cheers to the covenant people! Let's be anxiously engaged in doing good works!
TOMORROW! Special meeting celebrating 125 years of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan. You're all welcome to come to my church near Hiroshima station or go to one near you. Broadcasts in Japanese and English.
Just got back from Osaka. Took some pictures, had some fun, saw some walls that inspired an idea for a photoshoot. Just need a model that can pull off the look. Passed by Fukuyama (buy @BOOGIEDOWN_PUNX CD!) and now, practicing my speech for tomorrow.
@KayTaJapTweet When I was in a band years ago, whenever someone yelled, "Free Bird!" we'd give them the middle finger and say, "Here's your free bird!"

@timothyjphelan Oh this is a fun theory. Read about Herai-mura around Sendai. There also used to be a site that detailed many comparable things between Judaism and Japanese culture. I haven't looked for it for years so I'm not sure if it's still up.
