A federal judge has thrown out a class-action lawsuit accusing Spotify of ignoring bot activity and allowing billions of fake streams benefiting Drake and other top artists.
The case, brought by rapper RBX, pointed to Drake as an example of alleged streaming manipulation, though he was not listed as a defendant.
His legal team claimed that “billions of fraudulent streams have been generated” on tracks by “the most streamed artist of all time,” Aubrey Drake Graham, known professionally as Drake.
RBX has been given 21 days to submit a revised complaint.
