Humpback whales bubble-net feeding in Alaska's Inside Passage. Perhaps 10 whales get below forage fish, emitting bubbles that disorient the smaller fish, allowing the whales to feed on them as a group. Each whale consumes about 3,000 pounds of fish a day.
