Providence College's Roger McQueen and Tomas Machu are under the weather and won't play tonight vs. Simon Fraser
Nate Leaman said he hopes to have them back in on Sunday vs. Quinnipiac
Beau Jelsma is out with a lower body injury
@Nemo3130@Felix_Sicard McTavish has never participated in this camp. I have always believed that Zegras was the whistleblower as he very briefly participated during the summer they got in trouble.
@ZegrasTrevor@ReindeerGames91@mkton35 Frank literally took Zegras OFF his trade targets list at the start of THIS offseason. Giving him credit for the Zegras deal is crazy.
@MLarkinHockey I’m really surprised Detroit is not on your list. Yzerman clearly wasn’t satisfied with the goaltending last year and acquired Mrazek as a band-aid, only to have him get hurt almost immediately. Gibson would surely make them more competitive in the short term. Mrazek+ for Gibson?
@NYI_72@CFree614 As a Ducks fan, Pageau would be an excellent fit for the team. Since he only has 1 year left, I think I’d only be willing to trade Hinds from that list for him. Maybe something around Hinds + Lundestrom/Leason?
@MissinCurfew@DarrenDreger Would love to hear a players perspective on this from @ShaneOBrien55@ScottieUpshall@J_Swish24. If you were on the Ducks right now, how would you feel? Would you need some more info on what he's learned or is that in the past and you just want him to make you a good hockey team?
@ShutdownLine Would love to see what Fowler’s numbers look like on St. Louis compared to what they were on Anaheim this season. He looks so much better.
@coreypronman What are some examples of the biggest jumps in a drafted prospect’s potential in recent memory? In other words, who are some players who moved up multiple tiers over the course of a single season (or offseason), and what do you think drove that momentum?
@Derek_Lee27 If the puck goes out of the zone, it isn't reviewable anymore. Girard dumping the puck off the glass into the neutral zone ruined any chance at review.
@coreypronman If you were the Director of Amateur Scouting for an NHL team, how would you build/structure/organize your staff (How many scouts? Where would they be located? How often would you meet? Etc.)?
@DucksProspects It didn't even occur to me until just now because I am so used to seeing your account on the timeline, but maybe it's time for a new profile picture? 👀
@Derek_Lee27@TheHockeyNews Agreed. Honestly, I would be a bit surprised if Gibson hasn’t inquired about a change of scenery yet. He doesn’t seem like the kind of guy that would be fine with taking a reduced role on a rebuilding team. But yes, assuming he hasn’t asked to be moved, then I’m fine keeping him.
@Derek_Lee27@PatrickCPresent 1. If you were GM, who would your top targets be this offseason? What positions need to be addressed?
2. With Dostal’s role increasing as the season went on, what do you think the odds are of Gibson being a Duck next season?
@icethetics Appreciate the response! I have a hard time believing they won't go back to the Mighty Duck logo eventually. It seems like such an obvious call, especially with how much they have been incorporating it recently.
