Hey @FTC I would love for you to look into this incredibly coincidental pricing comparison between @SouthwestAir and @united.

It started when I thought $324.79 was an INSANE price for the cheapest fare on SWA for a 45 min flight from New Orleans to Houston, roundtrip, in 3 weeks. Midday Friday and a Monday.

So I priced United…similar itinerary. And lo and behold, it was…$324.79.

There is clearly ZERO competition in airlines, directly inflating traveler costs and eliminating competition to a level that pleases only them, and clearly NOT the consumer or traveler.

There’s a term for this…and it’s illegal
