@gmhales @WarrCriminology The issue is that each time a section of the community see that insignia, worn by an officer, they have to try and work out if the wearer also supports the vile views of anonymous elements who lurk here, for example. Its use is, at best, is ambiguous.

@Glos_Police @channel5_tv Disappointing that at least three officers were wearing the “thin blue line” insignia. Rowley, Met. Police Commissioner has banned it. Just like #bluelivesmatter it is effectively a taunt to sections of our community.
