Not when you have another couple of 10-15 pitch 2 minute innings and shitty plate appearances all night long. This offense is too unpredictable to assume 3 runs being surmountable. I knew we had lost the moment we gave up one because I have seen the same shit show happen since the inception of Joke Espada baseball.

It is critical for Espada to keep scorless games scoreless, especially right now and he simply does not. He thinks a clap and a “come one” will power his pitchers to an out and they simply cannot get the out. Teng didn’t look solid at all last night. There is no reason to not pull him on back to back walks with two outs.
There are too many games that we have lost because of this exact scenario.

It is September. You should be equally mad about the 5th. If you’re not, then we have two very different viewpoints on winning and there is no sense in continuing this conversation.

You pull Teng and you more than likely get out of the inning clean.

Yeah Imai gave up 2 before we got our 1 but even then the win is still obtainable atp.

You go down 5 late in the game and the game feels over.

Offense has to have a better approach at the plate no doubt.

The first pitch outs, down and away swing and miss and the inability to draw a walk or even make a side last longer than 2 minutes cannot continue to happen in September.

Even more reason to pull Teng. Instead Joe think giving up walks/ leads is a comical event.

Yeah.. that’s a major problem in of itself. This fanbase has a loser mentality. You should not be contempt in giving an opposing team any kind of lead.

He didn’t only give up one. He gave up 3. Were you laughing alongside Espada or did you not watch the game?

Back to back walks with 2 outs, gives up the run. He blew a tied game by not pulling Teng right there because he was too busy laughing. Runners at the corners. BH on the chalk line scores two. Those two runs were obvious to come.. that is to anyone who was actually paying attention not only tonight but all damn year.

It’s a sick repetitive joke atp. That cost us the game and sucked any potential wind from our sails.

But hey, flush it and move onto tomorrow! Can’t wait to watch the same managerial mistakes be made!
