During the consult process one of our comments was reiterating one of the most imporant heritage conservation rules: to paraphrase: Do not change any significance, a good repair/update is doing only what can be undone. We shall see.

Today @ottawacity Built Heritage Sub-committee approved planning to place a heritage easement on the Canadian Nurses Association HQ. We would have preferred a Heritage designation for this James W. Strutt project. @JimWatsonOttawa
