@Eureka22422_MTG I honestly don’t care that much about that part if the games it creates are good. I could believe that it wouldn’t make games better, but also, games right now (a few months ago) feel pretty bad, largely because the windows for interaction feel so small.
@Eureka22422_MTG I can’t say for sure how the meta would shake out but I did enjoy a lot of aspects about the DRS meta. I feel like it goes against intuition, but I think DRS would slow the format down, because it is not good in the really fast decks, and allows the slower decks to interact early
@1mrlee Something I think your story is missing, Im pretty sure Jordan was playing not a legacy deck, but some flavor of Vintage combo, and the kid was playing Standard heroic.

@aysenein I noticed the same thing in my grad school stint. I was very lucky to have an amazing mentor, but I saw many students who had a really rough go of it with bad mentors as well.
@aysenein I made this last time you posted and it was super good. I don’t even think I blended the sauce together well enough, as it wasn’t the smoothest sauce. But even then, it turned out incredible :)
@Eureka22422_MTG I feel like I’m usually on the side of dishing out the unexpected losses, but for me it was probably g1t1 otp: encroach an underground sea, surgical the other underground sea out of my hand.
@peachypop_cos The funny thing to me is that I think a lot of men know this implicitly - they find the same passion and knowledge attractive in women and other men. But they can’t help but reduce women to npcs or a different species rather than just another person like them. Passion is 🥵
