@dekim_Kalvino Reality is that he’s first on the list at the next downsizing. Companies will keep a mediocre producer who “puts in the extra hours” over an efficient one who gets all their work to leave on time. Shitty mgmt can’t see past the illusion that more hours must mean more work.
@Acyn Canadians figured him out long ago. When ypu dig in, he isn’t savvy at all.Somehow managed his first big deal with an inept Mattel that ignored all due diligence and nearly killed them. Then other actually knowledgeable people built his money, not himself. He’s an arrogant ass.
@HealthRanger Maybe like the fiber optic boom of the late 90s when the immediate exponential growth of IoT had telecoms predicting massive amounts of data over fiber would be required but never really materialized. Vast amounts of fiber was laid, a lot stayed dark and then wireless took off.
@brianlilley Or maybe build better, less expensive vehicles domestically than the trash built here now and actually provide a viable alternative instead of stifling competition.
@TrueNorthStr0ng Just looked at Food Basics. 30 large pack regular price $9.59 on sale for $6.33. Maybe Whole Foods Omega 3, free run, no cage, daily massaged chicken eggs are $10/dz
@brianlilley Easy, the math is ridiculous. $29M purchase price (before any operating costs) is a $2K ticket on a commercial carrier every single day, 365 days per year for 39.5 years. Taxpayers can’t afford that for Ford’s convenience.
@andersostlund Suriname and Brazil border French Guyana in South America. Argentina borders the Falkland Islands (I know, not EU) neither case makes them border ‘Europe’. Quaint idea but I can’t see 27 continental countries ever agreeing to take on uniquely N. American issues Canada faces.
@5am1am_6 A neighbourhood friend ended up with a broken collarbone when he slipped trying to flip it on riding at full speed. Got his hand into the spokes and went over the bars.
@andywalkerhq@notJackAtAll If it’s the same as my Audi, being a VAG vehicle, that looks about what the dealer is charging for battery + coding and adaptations.
@JefferyPetts The Artemis program alone has cost over 90B and they haven’t set foot on the moon yet. The 20-30B is more likely an order of magnitude and more off a fully costed estimate.
@JefferyParkins2@JeffreyLuscombe No, we have a border with an autonomous territory of a European country which lies within the continent of North America
@TruthFringe@InukEskimo Or ask all the privately owned oil and gas companies why they don’t actually invest in domestic production rather than sell it abroad. Govt can facilitate but they can’t force investment, facilitate shouldn’t mean handing over piles of cash subsidies to profitable companies.
@TruthFringe Govt builds them? Give privately owned oil a massive subsidy to companies making huge profits already. They are not going to sell oil and gas cheaper in Canada who has no nationalized producer. Where ‘s private investment that the govt can better facilitate?
