NEW: Sylvester Stallone delivers emotional tribute for his friend Carl Weathers who died in his sleep on Thursday.
“Today is an incredibly sad day for me. I'm so torn up. I can't even tell you. I'm just trying to hold it in.”
“Carl Weathers was such an integral part of my life, my success, everything about it.”
“When he walked into that room and I saw him for the first time, I saw greatness. But I didn't realize how great, I never could have accomplished what we did with Rocky without him.”
“He was absolutely brilliant. His voice, his size, his power, his athletic ability, but more importantly, his heart, his soul. It’s a horrible loss.”
“I'm standing here in front of this painting because it was probably the last moment we were ever in the ring together, and I'll never forget it.”
“He was magic and I was so fortunate to be part of his life.”

Goodbye "Sports Illustrated." At one time I waited anxiously every week for my next issue, along with "The Sporting News" and "Sport." All are gone. SI tried but they lost their way and now is just another headstone in the cemetery of great publications. #RIP SI
December 7th is a day that I always take time to recognize – as it is a defining date for America, and by extension, the world. The attacks on Pearl catapulted America into WWII, which in many ways, made us the nation we are today. The lives lost on that sunny Pacific Sunday morning will never be forgotten. If you ever make it to Hawaii, take a moment to see the USS Arizona memorial – it’s time well spent. #NationalPearlHarborRemembranceDay
The 50th anniversary of the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge in 1987.
Initially, planners anticipated a gathering of around 80,000 people.
However, the turnout greatly exceeded expectations, with an estimated 800,000 individuals attending the event.
The burden of people walking caused the normally curved roadbed to flatten.
SF resident Winston Montgomery depicted the situation by writing, "The Golden Gate Bridge, bearing all its 419,000 tons, creaked and oscillated like a frail wooden slab over a chasm."
People who were scared and feeling seasick ended up being sick on their own shoes.
As per Montgomery's account, to alleviate the pressure on the bridge, individuals started tossing bicycles and strollers off the structure.
Florida's Israel Rescue Operation has completed four rescue flights bringing nearly 700 Americans home from Israel.
Two cargo planes with 85 pallets of donated supplies have also arrived in Israel.
Thanks to all who helped make this happen.
In the immediate aftermath of Hamas’s invasion, the Biden State Department called for Israel to stand down.
Their first instinct was to tell Israel to do nothing—do not engage in strikes against the terrorists, just sit there and allow the terrorists to murder your citizens.
This is disgraceful.
“Rich Men North of Richmond” is the most listened to track in the world in the past 24 hours.
This American working-man’s protest song has millions & millions of plays.
