So, Burnham wants to scrap Barnett, as he thinks 🏴 gets more than 🏴, and that 🏴 is the reason "The North" is struggling.
You would think he would be glad to see the back of us, and keep all that 🏴taxpayers money....yet, he won't allow us to leave.
Why is that?🤔
The UK plans to get rid of the Coastguard Service and turn it into volunteers only, to 'save money'.
This will cost lives, and we have afforded it for 204 years.
But now it is 'unaffordable'.
No it is billionaires who are unaffordable, tax them until there aren't any.
Westminster CANNOT transfer competence to legislate for a proper constitutional referendum because Westminster CANNOT transfer or devolve powers which supersede its own. The doctrine of parliamentary sovereignty prohibits such a transfer. In a proper constitutional referendum, the people have the final say. The doctrine of parliamentary sovereignty dictates that Westminster must ALWAYS have the final say. For this reason alone, requesting a Section 30 order is just plain stupid. But this is not the only reason to deem it stupid and worse.
Asking for a Section 30 order after the people have mandated a referendum validates the British state's asserted veto over the will of Scotland's people. To request a Section 30 order is to accede to the alien doctrine of parliamentary sovereignty and so betray the principle that the people of Scotland are sovereign.
That the people of Scotland are sovereign is a constitutional fact and an abiding principle underpinning Scotland's status as a nation as well as our distinctive constitutional tradition and political culture.
Requesting a Section 30 order is an act of treachery. It is also an act of abysmal political folly and risible futility. Requesting a Section 30 order legitimises the British state's control of access to the means and opportunity to exercise our inalienable human right of self-determination.
No genuine pro-independence party would have any truck with the Section 30 process. A true national party would have repudiated the Section 30 process long before now. The SNP IS NOT the 'party of independence'. Enabling the SNP leadership ensures there will be no action on the constitutional issue.
YOU WERE WARNED!

So long as the Scots are waiting for permission from the English to hold a referendum then they are still thinking like subjects, not an independent people.
Just get on with it FFS.
Scotland is at the pathetic stage now of being told we cannot regain our independence by some random MP who isn't the English Prime Minister and our supposed First Minister will just accept that.
The UK government can’t financially afford to lose Scotland. This is why NO British PM will ever again allow Scotland to have another independence referendum.
Just to be clear, then. FIFA:
1) can't possibly intervene when Iran are forced to move, a referee is denied a visa, or fans are barred from the USA
2) can absolutely intervene when a decision goes against the USA that Donald Trump doesn't like
Smashing. All know where we stand
The UK government is attempting to block the Scottish Government from having an Independence Referendum.
If you believe it is up to Scotland to decide their own future and their own independence.
Show your support.
Denmark has a new king, the King and Queen get approximately $500,000 from the Danish Government a year, and the whole family is worth $40m.
In the UK King Charles gets $180,000,000 a year and his family is worth $25bn.
We need to be more like Denmark.
🚨 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟: Statement from UEFA on FIFA overturning Folarin Balogun's one-match suspension:
"Yesterday's decision to suspend for a probationary period of a year the
implementation of the one-match automatic suspension following the red card issued to the player Folarin Balogun crossed a red line."
"Football, like any other sports, relies on rules, which are the basis for fair, honest and transparent competition. Sometimes rules are open to interpretation. In this case not."
"A minimum automatic suspension of one match following a red card is not a discretionary option and does not require the decision of a competent body to be enacted. It is a principle embedded in regulations, which cannot be made subject to exceptions, let alone in the middle of a tournament where several other players have been in the same situation and regularly served their suspension."
"When the certainty of rules is no longer guaranteed by its guardians, the integrity of the game is at stake and the credibility of a competition is undermined. Equally, such decision creates a precedent in the ongoing tournament, where similar situations will now require an equal treatment, to the detriment of the competition."
"Football is the most loved sport in the world because it is a beautiful game and is trusted because it is played everywhere with the same laws. A tournament is never a pure standalone and, if the tournament in question is the World Cup, it has the power to drive positive or negative consequences on the game as a whole."
"We express our disbelief at such an unprecedented, incomprehensible and unjustifiable decision."
So a man who was voted in as MP with only 0.036% of English votes, finds himself as possible PM, and is telling an entire Nation they cant vote on the future of their own Nation?
Explain to me where the logic for Scotland staying in the Union is in that?
The Netherlands welcomed hyperscale data centres.
Then it paused to look again at its approach.
Why?
Because land, electricity demand, planning control and public benefit all had to be properly assessed.
Scotland is now considering proposals requiring around 6GW of electricity.
Has the Scottish Government examined why the Netherlands changed course?
Scotland doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel. It should learn from those who’ve already travelled this road.
@TimEagleMSP What’s to stop England building nuclear reactors and waste dumps and sending electricity up to Scotland free of charge? Do you see how ridiculous that sounds? Yet, this is what you demand from Scotland. We don’t need them here. We are a net exporter of electricity.
There's not enough housing, because billionaires made it too expensive for their profits.
There's not enough Healthcare, because billionaires made it too expensive for their profits.
Food, Energy, Water... are too expensive, it's all because of billionaires and THEIR profits.
Your reminder - this clip concludes with "The prosecution case is now over".
This day by day formatted BBC documentary of the trial then skipped the days of the defence case completely.
Not a single mention of the defence evidence.
Literally.
