@DerbyChrisW@Wren_Poltics@BBCr4today They are still not saying that the government can abandon its obligation to maintain an account of tax &spend, issue bonds & pay intetest
Noone is saying that the govt can just simply take the money from the boe - it is not setup like that and no govt is run like that
@tonywestonuk Your 4th paragraph is where the trouble starts
You know fully why nearly everyone with any connection or interest in this has the simple tax/spend understanding, and also that this is a cover for govts 'printing their deficits without bonds' - something that no economy does
@richardmarcj It has never worked in the past
If it produces the % points of growth we need and we can pay for public services
But punitive taxes are unlikely to be compatible with this
@LucyTCWife He doesn't need to 'call for things'
He raced onto social media specifically with this rage message
Today he stands in the commons pretending to be an observer and opines that 'it could get worse'
He's a snivelling weasel, without an ounce of decorum or leadership
@angrycrabcake66@Inevitablewest The media report things, that is different from them saying 'this is true'
Nobody is going to be reporting the 'truth' of that altercation because noone knows
It ended tragically however
@hunt_theW@ramonagusta I asked a question and then said something that 'could' be true - neither of those needs evidence, it's just reasoning
But actually the last week has presented a lot of economic evidence of the EU in relation to Brexit so there's that
@KonstantinKisin No
He was specifically asked not to politicise it, instead he races onto social media
What leader calls for 'cold rage'?
If he meant people to stay calm he could've said so - he's eloquent
Our future Prime Minister, it seems
