Chair of Stuckey’s. Making the world a better place, one pecan log roll at a time. Will pull over for the world’s largest ball of twine #roadtrips#ugabulldog
Where I come from we say sir & ma'am, drink our tea sweet & love Elvis. We also read Harry Crews, listen to REM & believe in getting in good trouble like John Lewis. This is my South
@StuckeyStop I have another one for you - this diner in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey (now a different restaurant, same building) used to be a Stuckey's! https://t.co/afDLOGLUK3
Elvis has left the building. But the Jungle Room lives on. On June 7, 1982, Graceland opened its doors to the public, attracting millions of visitors, including the members of Spinal Tap 😆
Happy birthday to my favorite architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Remembering that time my Zillow browsing got a little out of hand, and I wandered onto one of his homes for sale in Tulsa. Breaking and entering or architectural tourism? You decide. #zillowgonewild
On June 7, 1982, Graceland officially opened its doors to the public. Today, 44 years later, Elvis' home continues to welcome fans from around the world who come to experience his legacy, his music, and the place he loved most.
Happy 44th Anniversary, Graceland ❤️
82 years ago today, nearly 160,000 Allied troops stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, launching the liberation of Europe.
We are free because they were brave. 🇺🇸
@boohoo2259 He would have loved being an action figure. This is him later in life, soaking in the hot tub. He loved a good glass of bourbon too. Wonderful man
My grandfather was part of the Normandy invasion in June 1944.
On this D-Day anniversary, I remember the service & sacrifice of the Greatest Generation.
May we never forget.
