Fliers are calm, if a little confused, all have been told by airport staff to move to an opposite end of the terminal. Few know what next steps are @CBCToronto@TorontoPearson
@TorontoPearson How is it that the country’s largest airport has no contingency plan in place for a fire at a gate? I understand that safety is paramount but there must be contingencies in place where affected traffic can be diverted from that one gate? #disasterplanning
@AirCanada@TorontoPearson still waiting for one plane to push off ahead of us and then we’re to the gate. No need to thank us for our patience. It’s gone.
Never mind. Stuck at the ramp area. 2 aircraft in front of us and possibly no ramp staff or ramp agent. This only gets better. @TorontoPearson@AirCanada
