The rebuild was always going to painful and very unlikely to be quick. We could have got lucky but we are spurs fans so that was never going to happen. One day they will come a time when we won’t be laughed at and mocked constantly I just hope that day comes sooner rather that later as it’s a drag being a spurs fan at the moment.

I echo much of what you have outlined. My biggest concern now is this, we have fully backed a manager and seemingly gave him all he wanted ( although we don’t know for sure this is the case ) but for arguments sake he’s been given the keys. If we get 10 games in and there’s no improvement ( haven’t seen much “de zerbi “ ball so far ) 15 games 20 games at some point either he will walk as he has before. Or the club will have a reel problem on their hands. Do they stick with him like with Frank and cause another horrendous season to be played out on a 50-50 that we stay up. Of course it’s early days but there has be point where again questions will be asked and I don’t like any of the possible answers.

I wanted him to leave too but, given he didn’t want to leave and then being offered lower wages would you take that in the chin ? Being forced out is one thing but to take a pay cut along with it, I kind of don’t blame him. Everton couldn’t have wanted him that much if they weren’t prepared to pay him at least what spurs were.

This meltdown with our so called fans is a joke. We’ve had an unbelievable window in that RBZ has in some cases been forced to make moves to cover players who simply wanted to leave. Are all of these signings complete needle movers ? No. But marmosh and Fernandez alone I’d have been happy with. Loads of deadwood gone we can see now that the board will back RBZ so in Jan we can go again with calmer heads this crazy ending has confused people that we are desperate for bodies. When everyone is fit we have more than enough to work with and build on.

@JonnyH3232 You can’t make players or teams sing to our tune all the time. Gakpo was never really “ for sale” Ndiaye was never a priority or it would have been done ages ago which he probably knows so don’t blame him for not jumping at us . RBZ made mudryk so who knows
