ICYMI:
The city has become a film and TV powerhouse for many reasons and that shows no sign of changing. Hamiltonians can find plenty of local spots in movie and TV productions and the city’s star power is only growing. https://t.co/89NMNYcOfC @HamFilmStudios@studio_aeon
A big "Thank You" to Jeff and Mike from @studio_aeon and Colina Maxwell from @Centre3 for the tour! I have always believed that Hamilton can be a thriving creative hub for the film, tv, and art industry - I look forward to watching it grow!

Hamilton is known for its thriving art culture so it’s great to see the #BayfrontStudioDistrict humming with engagement. As demonstrated by participants from @iwchamilton learning to weave at @Centre3, creativity in any form bonds communities & cultivates innovation.
Hamilton City Council has voted unanimously to move forward with selling 14 acres of bayfront land to Aeon Studio Group for the purpose of building a 1-million square foot live-work-play hub for the creative industries. Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen.

@closet_ginger Never say never, but unfortunately due to the sensitivity and confidentiality of the productions filming in the studio, along with Covid restrictions, it’s not something we do very often. We'll be sure to post any upcoming events on our website and social media pages.
Next week, I'm traveling to LA to promote our film and television sectors. During the Mission I'll be providing updates on Toronto’s efforts to:
✔️Increase studio space
✔️Continue growth of diverse workforce
✔️Prioritize green production infrastructure
✔️Tax Credit Stability
