@SunGarrioch Hodgson and Boucher provide that speed, pace and bite in the bottom of the lineup. That should be talked about more. Making room for them would make a big impact on the forecheck.

Then the goal should be improving the top six

How players like Hodgson and Boucher who fit that identity to a T should have been in the lineup over players that don’t

@alexadamsBTP_ They should have just run a MacDermid-Boucher-Hodgson 4th line. The #sens showed in period 2 what kind of team they needed to be to win that game and the series. This 4th line would have let them sustain it and would have done more than the actual 4th line did

@PeskySickos Agreed. The problem is they don’t have the personnel to sustain it. The roster lacks bite and many players don’t play that way. They also didn’t dress players like Hodgson, Boucher and MacDermid that do play that way

@SunGarrioch @OttawaCitizen @Senators They got swept trying to be a knock off Canes team but period 2 of game 4 showed them they could do something the Canes couldn’t. It showed them who the #sens are. Now they just need to build the right roster to play that way consistently

@SunGarrioch @OttawaCitizen @Senators Staios and Green should be asked about this. They should be challenged about it. Clearly that play sparks life into this roster and they haven’t had enough of it all season and in the playoffs. They need to decide what the @Senators identity actually is
