First year student studying Mental Health

PLE3 Is under way. Have never done manual handling or personal care before. Now I’m on a young onset dementia ward and loving it. #MentalHealthMatters #mentalhealthnurse #student #studentnurse #studentmhn

Still don’t know what day: But this placement is done and I’ve completely grown to love it! I’ve learnt so much and feel like I accomplished loads too!! PLE3 I’m ready for you!

Don’t know what day anymore: This ward is either absolute chaos or uneasily quiet. There’s no in between. But I’m learning to love it!! #mhnurse #MentalHealthMatters #student #studentmhnnurse

Day 14: Really starting to settling into the placement and feeling more like a nurse. Completed my first injection, reading rights, section 5(2) application, handover and to top the day off a patient trying to run away on my watch #student #studentnurse #studentmhnnurse #winning

Day 8: Absolutely horrible day. All week a patient took a dislike to me, it reached a head today and really made me question my career choice #Students #mentalhealth #studentmhn

Day 5: Super strange feeling all day on placement, couldn’t put my finger on what was going on. Felt very very out of place though. for a better day tomorrow

Day 2: I’m totally surprised to say that I’m really enjoying this placement so far. 🤞 it stays this way! #mentalhealth #student #studentnurse #studentmhnurse #mentalheathnursestudent
