starting to put together next year's shows, opened up indesign for the first time in 3 years to assemble a contract and forgot everything except that ctrl-d is how you place stuff

got woken up by bad thunderstorm with big hail at 4am one night and then by bad thunderstorm with tornado sirens at like 1:30am the very next night,
severe weather quota has been met for the year, no more plz and ty

there's that endless debate about whether hurricanes or tornadoes are worse, but it's the straight-line winds that will sneak up and get ya

also spent like 45 minutes trying to draw a leg the other day, decided to come back to it later, then today opened up the file and drew a perfectly acceptable leg in 5 minutes flat

Dunno if my tablet pen isn't holding a charge or not charging properly, but trying to draw with it plugged into an external battery is hella awkward

I got a show this weekend, and started prepping for it yesterday 😱

baby cat knows that another cat lives across the hall and would very much like to meet and probably fight this mysterious neighbor cat since she can no longer fight mr. bobtail thru the patio door

unlearning the false narrative that individuals are responsible for the majority of waste, garbage, emissions, etc., and all the misplaced guilt that came with tossing stuff
modern society hits with some weird baggage 🤔
