One of the phrases from Cal HC Tosh Lupoi has been โfire it upโ
Well look at the way the recruits get welcomed on their official visits by a fired up group of coaches led by the man himself ๐ค
OL DaJohn Yarborough sure enjoyed that one per his IG story
@SturdyGoldWrite@downbadbears I fuckin like this bears fan. You're the only one not crying about the shit. Embrace it and gear up for the next season ๐ช๐ฝ
As those of you take a look into what Cal Football has been doing on the recruiting trail
From the first weekend alone, 10 of the 12 players pictured here were either already committed or committed on the official visit
With another big session currently getting underway, it makes that trend all the more encouraging
@RollPhillyDawgz Semantics. All over SM yall were saying you were going to get this years first and Christian, and yall got a 5th this year and a first next year.
Obviously the recruiting momentum with the new staff is a big part of Cal's increased profile nationally, but I suspect another key part is that Tosh understands that talking to reporters and getting them to cover the program, helping to get people around the country talking about the Bears, that only makes his job easier. Wilcox wasn't putting himself out there to talk to reporters, because that wasn't his personality and he didn't really value the bigger picture of branding and marketing the program to the world.
