It was an incredibly special event surrounded by people committed to spreading love & hope. Also acknowledging those who supported us during challenging times. I feel truly fortunate to lead a team that has the opportunity to extend a helping hand to YP facing extreme adversity.
our Fouder @Sturmsy had the privilege of attending the Princess of Wales Carol Service at Westminster Abbey Themed "how much we need each other especially in the most difficult times of our lives"
1600 guests from the UK celebrated kindness & hope

BREAKING
"Domestic abuse victims and care leavers under 25 to be exempt from any ‘local connection’ requirements."
This will mean care leavers placed out of area and who have built lives for themselves, making new friends will no longer face downward social mobility.
Care Leavers up and down the country have had to face the choice of returning after leaving care to get help with housing or homelessness.
No longer.

Hundreds of millions of pounds of profit are being extracted from children's homes by private equity and other owners. This week’s The Rest is Money podcast is a special episode on the disastrous deterioration of support for families in crisis and the escalating scandal of private-sector residential care for children removed from parents https://t.co/v7OBNbi14R
Do we now see how easy it is to rewire & radicalise children & YP into violence, criminality & extremisn?
This is the golden thread running through #CountylinesCCE
@Simone_Biles Wow, I am so full of admiration! What an incredible role model you are from so many different angles. Heroic doesn’t even come close. a true blessing to the 🌍 💜🙏🏼
It’s not too late to donate in support of our teams efforts. All funds raised support us to provide fun /wellbeing activities for care experienced young people who don’t have the finances to afford them #MakingMemories#Connection#belonging
@sharoncooper3 Well deserved Sharon! We see first hand the dedication and continuous development of the care offered. Really pleased it’s been recognised
@JamesTCobbler Thank you for bringing hope!
Given the numbers of care experienced young people and adults in the criminal justice system a trauma informed approach is vital for them and your workforce
