This right here is why I would never play about @NYGELSARTORIAL. You always bring the real story to the light, especially for us. Stacy Young fought, pulled strings, and did everything she could so Destiny’s Child could even get in the room with those brands in 2000. Some houses showed up. Some didn’t. This framing is frustrating. Monoracial Asians have had almost no consistent presence in Western media for decades. Now the moment that finally gets labeled a “generation” and a cultural takeover is the one where many of the faces are half-white. Visibility for mixed people is not the same as representation for Asian people. Calling this dominance while full Asian actors, leads, and stories remain scarce just highlights how narrow the window still is.
