I think it's time for me to bid farewell to X (or Twitter as it will always be to me). Social media can take over too many precious hours if you let it. You can find me on Insta, Facebook and LinkedIn and that's about all I can manage for now. Bye bye π
@SophieJSmith3@theRCOT @worcester_uni Ooh, are you still looking?
1)The role of occupational therapy in menopause management.
2)The impact of body image on occupational performance
I'd be very interested in the results π
Meet Izzie. She joins the Styling Life OT team for 10 weeks from Coventry University. and will be learning about how we can use social media to reach individuals experiencing the symptoms of menopause. Please give her a welcome. @CovUniOT#Menopause#OccupationalTherapy

I have written an article for @thetimes in response to the new draft menopause guidelines from NICE. They are a step backwards for women.
CBT may have a place when taking a holistic approach to managing the perimenopause, but it wonβt improve every menopause symptom and wonβt treat the underlying hormone deficiency.
Women deserve to have a choice and if they want to take HRT they should be allowed to. It is about time women are heard and their symptoms and future health is taken seriously.
Thinking of an academic #OT career? We are recruiting Teaching Fellows both at our Coventry campus (https://t.co/EFKFCpmEQw) and our London Vauxhall campus (https://t.co/9jYKHfIr4l)
We are a welcoming, diverse, innovative, and hard-working team. What can YOU bring?π€

Since going independent at the end of 2019 I've provided practice education to 61 students. 10 from @CovUniOT and 51 from @UoW_OT they are a big part of my world. Independent practice can be lonely so sometimes you have to blow your own trumpet πΊ #occupationaltherapy
@LouiseSewell_OT@CovUniOT@UoW_OT Aww thank you. I knew right from when I trained at @CovUniOT from 2000 that I was going to be a PE as soon as I could. I truly don't know how many students I've taken on placement since then but they have been a constant and integral part of my own journey
