You do not learn to swim by reading about water. You learn by getting in and moving. In the same way all the great men of our ancestors knew that flesh, gold, and kinsmen would all inevitably die but that the one thing that would never perish was the deeds of a man who boldly chose his own path and dared to move...

@Nikki_tay13 @JiujitsuOtter We have guys/gals that compete regularly. I am not one of those guys. The risk of Injury isn't worth it to me. It's not about whether I win or lose. Losing comes with the territory. It's about my longevity. It's about having something else to teach my daughter!

(I didn't choose them for a roll, they chose me) also, I have subbed all the blue belts in my gym. I will caveat its a small gym

So by your standard, I shouldn't submit them, I shouldn't show them where they are weak and I should let the other white belt work.
