🚨 Major update in India’s Kaveri engine dream. 🇮🇳

Defence Research and Development Organisation chief Samir V. Kamat said the engine earlier produced 72 kN thrust, below what HAL Tejas requires.

Recent afterburner tests by Gas Turbine Research Establishment reportedly pushed thrust to 81–83 kN after key upgrades.

If progress continues, India could reduce dependence on General Electric engines and move closer to self-reliance by 2027. ✈️

But today there is extra reason for the people of India as well as us Europeans to be happy. ❤️

Prime Minister Modi and EU leaders are expected to announce the free trade agreement between India and Europe during the ceremonies in Delhi.

As a block Europe is Indias largest trading partner.

When the US has started weaponizing trade, its so important that Bharat and Europe understand what trade is all about - a tool for mutual cooperation, a tool to provide jobs and prosperity for both Indians and Europeans.

Bangladesh has refused to travel to India to play the T20 World Cup, despite a final ultimatum from the ICC. This effectively means they are out of the tournament.

Whatever your opinion of them, one must acknowledge the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s sense of self-respect. We didn’t really do much to them, just removed one of their players from the IPL, and they took it to heart enough to refuse to tour India.

On the other hand, there was the BCCI, which couldn’t stop itself from playing an enemy country that had orchestrated one of the worst terrorist attacks against us just months earlier.
