@Tablesalt13 We got it backwards. We need to automate all traffic policing. Heavy % of gross income based tickets for dangerous or accident causing behavior. And fund all other policing this way. May not need regular tax money for it. Let the law breakers pay for it all.

@theBurlyChef In a 35min commute each way. 10+ near misses witnessed today. Mainly lane changes without mirror use or shoulder check. One was a tow driver literally bullying car next to him to move over. Sad to see the class 4 and "pro" drivers skills and attention diminish

@theBurlyChef It's the total opposite direction. We should be funding higher risk crime fighting by making drivers pay the photo tax. And also stop discrimination of low income by making fines based on % gross income or base ticket cost whichever is lower. Utilize AI and reassign traffic cops

@yegwave You know Canada's fabric is broke when a lineup of kms of vehicles behind this crash doesn't yield anyone attempting to assist with simple first aide or direct traffic. We passed 5-10min after on other side. Firetruck just arriving. And oh yeah...nobody would move over...smh

@theBurlyChef Between the public safety and the immigration ministers needed to be someone of some basic understanding. Sure looks like a couple pawns to take sacrificial back bench positions after some key legislation gets pushed through. Ridiculous the level they were exposed in question.
