Attendees from 🇺🇸 🇰🇷 visited U.S. nuclear submarine training facilities at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia today. This visit is the first Deterrence Strategy Committee event hosted by @NSB_KingsBay and is a positive demonstration of U.S. extended deterrence.

This week, Machinist's Mate (Nuclear) 2nd Class Riley Palatinus, assigned to USS Wyoming (Gold) had his dolphins pinned on by his dad at the St Marys Submarine Museum. His dad used the dolphins he was originally pinned with during his time as a submariner!

Partner navies in the Diesel Electric Submarine Initiative (DESI), visited @NSB_KingsBay and toured USS Alaska (SSBN 732). DESI is a program designed to train crews and test capabilities in Anti-Submarine Warfare between nuclear-powered and diesel-electric submarines.
