Goons arrive to kidnap Sunny's sister. Sunny flashes his rakhi and shouts his vows to protect her. But just as he is about to beat them to a pulp, the Azaan plays. Now helpless, Sunny sits for Namaz, giving the goons an easy chance to take his sister away.
Pre-social media Bollywood was on another level of delulu.

Hello @kritisanon,
1. Don't play the woman card. You were not criticized for your gender, but for your choice of clothes in an ad. You are bringing gender into this to make it a women's issue and seek wider support from women and male feminists. It's not a gender issue. Even Ranveer Singh was criticized on Twitter for a nude photoshoot. He didn't play the gender card.
2. Personal choice stops where public commercialization begins. What you wear off-camera is entirely your prerogative. You've been in this business for years. Until now, nobody bothered you about your choice of clothes. You know why? Because nobody actually cares what you wear. The outrage here comes from a commercial choice: sexualizing a deeply sacred festival celebrated by millions. Context dictates appropriateness. If a male actor appeared bare-chested while portraying the brother in that exact scene, the public pushback would be identical. The issue is sacredness and context, not gender.
3. Claiming "clothes don't define culture" directly contradicts human history. Attire is a foundational visual language of every global tradition, you cannot wear a Kimono and call it Indian ethnic wear, nor can you strip a festival of its sacred aesthetic without altering its significance. If attire truly has zero bearing on cultural respect, then tomorrow is Eid. Can you wear that exact same outfit you wore in that ad and wish Eid Mubarak? You said clothes don't define the respect you have for culture in your heart. So do it and we'll take our criticism back.
Respecting a tradition means honoring its context, not commodifying it under the guise of fashion.

THE LAST DAY OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA
4 July 1902. Belur Math.
Swami Vivekananda was only 39.
This is how his final day unfolded.
Early Morning
Swamiji woke early and went to the shrine.
He appeared unusually cheerful and well. He ate some fruit, drank milk and joked with his brother monks.
Around 8:30 am
He asked Swami Premananda to prepare his meditation seat.
He then asked to be left alone.
The doors and windows were closed. Swamiji meditated for nearly three hours.
11:00 am
He came out of meditation singing a song to Mother Kali.
As he walked in the courtyard, Premananda heard him say something extraordinary.
“If there were another Vivekananda, he would have understood what Vivekananda has done. And yet, how many Vivekanandas shall be born in time.”
Around Noon
Unlike many other days, Swamiji ate with the other monks.
He was hungry and ate heartily. After lunch he rested for barely fifteen minutes.
Then he got up.
“A monk should not sleep during the day. Come, let us study.”
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
For almost three hours, Swami Vivekananda taught Sanskrit grammar to the young Brahmacharins.
It was no solemn final class.
He joked, told stories and turned the lesson into an afternoon of laughter.
Nobody around him knew that their teacher had only a few hours left.
Late Afternoon
He drank warm milk and went for a long walk with Swami Premananda towards Belur market.
His health had been poor for months.
Yet that evening he walked without difficulty.
They discussed many things, including his dream of establishing a Vedic college.
Around 5:00 pm
He returned to the Math and sat beneath a mango tree near the Ganga.
He talked with the monks.
Later he asked for a cup of tea.
7:00 pm
The bell rang for evening worship.
Swamiji went upstairs to his room.
He asked for his rosary and told the attendant not to disturb him.
Then he began to meditate.
Around 7:45 pm
He called the attendant back.
He asked him to open the windows because he felt warm.
Swamiji lay down.
The rosary was still in his hand.
He asked the attendant to massage his feet.
And then came the final moments.
Around 9:10 pm
His breathing became deep.
His hand trembled.
He took another deep breath.
His head moved on the pillow.
And Swami Vivekananda was gone.
He had once said:
“I shall not live to be forty.”
He was 39 years, 5 months and 22 days old.
The next day his body was taken to the bank of the Ganga at Belur Math.
Sister Nivedita sat beside her Guru in grief.
His mother Bhuvaneswari Devi came to see her Naren for the last time.
Swami Vivekananda was cremated at the spot beside the Ganga that he himself had reportedly pointed out only days earlier.
[Just three days earlier, while walking with Swami Premananda on the grounds of Belur Math, Swamiji had pointed towards a particular spot beside the Ganga and said:
“When I give up the body, cremate it there.”]
Today the Swami Vivekananda Temple at Belur Math stands there.
He had also once said that leaving the body would not end his work.
He lived for only 39 years. But those 39 years were enough to awaken a civilisation.
I’m exhausted and giving up 🙏 I’m in the hospital fighting for my life, with no income, and my PF transfer is still blocked for 30 days 😞
This delay is not just negligence—it’s destroying me. If something happens to me @mansukhmandviya@narendramodi is responsible 🙏 #EPFO
Incredible. @RitikaChandola tracks a CJP protestor at Jantar Mantar who was a part of the Nepal Gen Z regime change. He has travelled all the way from Nepal to Delhi to be a part of the CJP mob. Is ready to camp out in Delhi for weeks.

Dear Chinmayi garu,
You wrote an open letter, but conveniently avoided the very question I raised.
I spoke about the double standards surrounding religious practices. You ignored the burqa comparison completely because answering it would expose the selective outrage.
Instead, you built a strawman- surgeons, recording studios, Afghanistan and every Hindu woman in the country.
Bandi Sanjay’s statement was about school students, not policing every woman in India.
If your principle is “no religious symbols in public institutions,” say it for every religion. If not, don’t selectively target Hindu traditions while remaining silent on others.
Equality cannot be selective. Secularism cannot be selective. Outrage cannot be selective.
ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳
