If JCEM is really serious about improving the quality of papers published in their journal, they need to do away with the huge publications charges for the accepted manuscripts.
It is ironic that authors who have worked so hard to generate the medical literature have to pay to publish it
I am sure that a rich society like The Endocrine Society USA can afford to do that.
