I joined @toly on stage at Accelerate to discuss @solana and it was a solid reminder of what it takes to build through tough markets.

We frequently touch on "earned insight" when we're diligencing founders: what in their experience has led them to focus a specific problem and why they're uniquely positioned to solve it.

Toly's journey at Qualcomm led him and his cofounders to develop a blockchain that pushed the limits of performance - now high throughput performance is table stakes. That experience is coming in handy again, leveraging his mobile background so that everyone carries the Solana blockchain in their back pockets - integration all the way from the OS to the app layer on your phones. No other blockchain is positioned to do this.

There are few things that matter to get blockchains running a growing set of use cases - performance, privacy, access, to name a few. Toly has done a great job of building a culture that pushes the boundaries on all of them.
