Dear users, due to the current outage of the Arbitrum network, transactions on SubstanceX are temporarily suspended until the issue is resolved.
We will closely monitor the latest updates from the Arbitrum official channel and follow up on the repair progress.
Once the network is restored, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity.
📢 #SubstanceX has introduced a new funding fee system!
Not only are fees 80% lower than market competitors, but we've also achieved a better balance of interests, leading to a more rational and stable market operation.

Regarding the recent drama about Luke and inscriptions:
There are two forms of BTC client upgrades:
1. Soft fork client upgrade (parameter-based, excluding certain transactions from new blocks).
2. Hard fork client upgrade (hard-coded parameters, such as transactions with extra data leading to lack of consensus in the network).
The BTC client is just a tool for connecting to the BTC network. If it truly eliminates inscriptions in the Bitcoin Core client as Luke suggests (through a parameter-based soft fork), it only means users connected to this client will be insulated from inscriptions. As long as nodes continue to package transactions with extra data, they can still exist. Luke's representation of Bitcoin Core isn't certain; his proposals might not be adopted. If adopted, it's likely to be a soft fork, as miners won't likely reject profit. The impact would be minimal.
Multiple BTC clients can coexist. For instance, if the Bitcoin Core client (not supporting inscriptions) has significant computing power and the Bitcoin ABC client (assuming it supports inscriptions) has less, the first five blocks could be packaged by Bitcoin Core without inscriptions. The sixth block, packaged by Bitcoin ABC (supporting inscriptions), might miss many inscription transactions due to the limited BTC memory pool of 1.4MB, focusing on the most profitable ones. This could lead to longer processing times and higher gas fees for inscription transactions. However, the first five transactions packaged by Bitcoin Core won't include these fees. With block rewards halving next year and transaction fees becoming more crucial, miners might prefer not using the Bitcoin Core client. The final scenario could see the Bitcoin ABC client, supporting inscriptions, gaining miner support and dominating, while Bitcoin Core becomes a less popular choice. Additionally, miners could simply choose not to upgrade to the new Bitcoin Core version, sticking with the current one.🫡

If you have some free time tonight, consider spending 10 minutes reading this article by Jingwei Venture Capital in 2021. I was fortunate to come across it in 2022, which has benefited me ever since. Its definitions of company and individual growth highly resonate with my philosophy. In fact, many ideas in it serve as a guideline that has guided me and my colleagues at Substance as we progress together.
