My mum is in Colchester General with Covid which she contracted whilst in for a fall and hip operation. She’s 83 and her oxygen levels are 60%. The next 24 hours are really the last chance, here she is in the 1970s with my sister. Happier times.

@MichaelRosenYes@Johnrashton47 and @doctor_oxford speaking up were the reason why my parents were saved from the first wave. I came home and locked us all down in the first week of March 2020.
Then Boris Johnson faffed about, ignored @CovidJusticeUK and Mum died of hospital acquired Covid Jan21.
@ByDonkeys Action taken caused no criminal damage or concern and only contained freely available information about the Pumpkin President and his mate the paedophile.
Where are the arrests for the people distressing or intimidating minorities with malicious communications? Drop the charges.
I've just been made aware that my friends @ByDonkeys have been arrested on charges of "Malicious Communications" for their projection onto Windsor Castle.
It will be interesting to see which side of the line the usual crowd of "free speechers" stand on this one given threat the
@SkyNews@BethRigby@HarrietHarman@RuthDavidsonPC Harriet Harmer and Kier Starmer should read up on democracy. These people weren’t elected by him, they were elected by their constituents who did not want disabled people not to be able to get help washing.
@Royal_Greenwich Maybe your lawyers suggested this was a good idea but it doesn’t look good from here. Particularly in the context of the clear records that show a different story. I hope the residents of RAQs see this as the puff piece it is.
@Royal_Greenwich I find the borough’s interpretation of the Buikding Safety Act very confusing. The BSR is not responsible for remediation works or for oversight of them. Indeed recent case law has made it clearer that main contractors can pursue subcontractors for the costs of remediation. Odd.
@paullewismoney@Moneybox@BBCRadio4 Thanks for giving James Murray a good grilling and getting more information out of him. He really doesn’t understand, does he?
@sacha_coward@IndiaWilloughby My mum was 83 when she died in January 2021 of hospital acquired covid. She was a supporter of trans rights all her life and advocated for trans women to have access to personal hygiene kits in police stations in London in the 1980s. Mums are the best 🏳️⚧️❤️
At @covidinquiryuk this morning, Rosemary Gallagher of the RCN explained that some PPE provided to NHS workers was so substandard that it was potentially harmful.
The consequences of a Government putting profit and personal connections ahead of public health.
#VIPLane
Today at @covidinquiryuk, @MattHancock was asked if he knew of any other country in the world that set up a VIP-Lane.
He repeatedly refused to answer before saying that VIP-Lanes during pandemics are an 'inevitable part of life'.
The answer he was looking for was no.
Matt Hancock describes promoting a PPE offer from his pub landlord, Mr Bourne, as 'impeccable behaviour'.
Mr Bourne was awarded a £40m contract. He then subcontracted out the work.
Fortunately for Mr Bourne, @covidinquiryuk has chosen not hear evidence from any Suppliers.
