200,000 Documented Dreamers live on the brink of deportation & will be forced to self-deport without legislative or regulatory action. This is both a moral failing & an act against our country’s future. We must protect these young Dreamers.

Love these Indian H1Bs who continually pranked Theranos's insane COO. I just wish being smarter than the COO of a major US company automatically gave you a green card. H-1B should convert to a green card automatically without applying within 6 months https://t.co/HKmQdbVJeP
@David_J_Bier Does this mean the application will be approved on the same day?? Even if you give millions USCIS will sit on for months before approval.
The State Dept expects that non-Chinese, non-Indians in the EB-3 category will use 65% of the additional 40,040 green cards for EB-3. Compared to roughly 0% last year. DHS said in April these immigrants had no backlog. So where is all this new demand coming from?
I don’t understand these continued gratuitous attacks—by people I respect massively and would defend until my dying day—on people who are just trying to work hard and get some basic rights in the workplace and certainty into their lives. It has to stop. All immigrants are equal!!
🟩 We broke down the state of play on green card backlogs and legislative efforts to recapture unused numbers. @kreighbaum & me: https://t.co/2ORpwNccT0 (no paywall)
Oh man. That's so messed up. Guess what? The U.S. government has NEVER issued a green card to a business. Not once. It has not happened. It's a leftist talking point designed to dehumanize foreign workers. https://t.co/IZdidpjNsH
Recapturing unused #greencards would have a significantly positive impact on our economy.
@JeremyLNeufeld estimates that it would likely contribute $1+ trillion to the U.S. GDP over 10 years and increase net revenue by billions.

@gsiskind@SenatorDurbin Did he reach out to you to confirm that it's same bill? then it's great. Please show some proof. @SenatorDurbin has opposed in the past and can't trust him.
When there will be no per-country limit on 13 million undocumented in the Budget Reconciliation bill, why does Senator Durbin REFUSE to remove racist per-country limits affecting Indian immigrants? 3/3
BUT @SenatorDurbin wants to continue to hurt tax-paying law abiding skilled immigrants from India. He INSISTS on continuing racist per country limits on employment based green cards, and he wants Indian immigrants to wait for 200 years to get green cards. 2/3
Instead of pitting immigrants against each other and using them as political pawns, it is time to go beyond #DACA and pass real #immigration reform.

@gsiskind Because to some, diversity is more important than skills of Indian doctors. Thank you for always voicing your concern over the core problem. Hopefully, Congress and specifically Democrats can get it right this time. Not expecting any support from the Republicans.
The Texas governor won't get much help from any of the international docs (about 40% of hospitalists in the US), since they're largely Indian, in long green card backlogs & barred from moving employers/locations easily - https://t.co/BPZn9ecRKK
