🚨MARC ANDREESSEN IS NOW ADVISING THE FEDERAL RESERVE

The a16z co-founder will co-lead a task force on AI's economic impact, one of five groups Fed Chair Warsh unveiled today to overhaul how the central bank operates.

The task forces will review the Fed's $6.7 TRILLION balance sheet, how it measures inflation and communicates with markets, and how it uses economic data.

Other names include former BOE governor Mervyn King, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, former Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, and Nobel laureate Thomas Sargent.

The U.S. is revoking a general license that allowed Iranian oil sales, after calling Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz “wholly unacceptable", per Reuters.
