@BradFRoss You set the standard for public sector comms, you raised the bar, you made it HOT. It was a privilege to work with and learn from you. Your voice still guides me to do the right thing. I am lucky to have you as a mentor, friend and euchre buddy. And thank you for your feedback.
@bradrossTO I was there. It was you who took that on, who consulted with the experts to figure out how to address it. Then it became the rest of us, and we all recognized how important it was. But you started the conversation, Brad. And I, for one, am grateful.
@trebuchet_guy@pattonoswalt@runolgarun I got fired from a bakery at 14 because I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to tie bakery boxes. I just couldn’t do it. This was before the fancy tape dispenser came into prominence.
Hey @airtransat , I just spent three hours on hold to make a simple flight change that cannot be done online, only to be disconnected. Where’s the #customerservice? This is totally unacceptable.
My (ex)father-in-law, Don Weitz, a fierce deputant at #TOpoli council and committee meetings, prolific writer of letters to @TorontoStar editors and protector of the rights of psychiatric patients, died this week at 90. @OCAPtoronto@JohnOCAP https://t.co/vlTyuP9HCi
Happy birthday to the great professional love of my life. I spent 15+ years in municipal public service, some of the most rewarding work imaginable. Through crisis, celebration and the day to day, it was an honour to work with the 14,000 people who worked to keep Toronto moving.
The moment I stopped holding my breath. I am grateful to and humbled by science, and will always remember my mother’s immediate response when I asked her what she thought was the greatest scientific or technological achievement in her lifetime: vaccination. #VHCvaxxie#vhcdose2
