If any of my mothers friends would like to donate in her honour, my brother and I have chosen a charity called first choice which supports young writers. Website Link - https://t.co/6PCGPaiCHm
This is a very difficult time for us and has come as a complete shock as I’m sure it has to you all to. She was an amazing woman and I cannot put into words the grief we feel. With regards Sophie (her daughter)
My brother and I have arranged the funeral to take place on Wednesday the 29th of July. I’d like to take this time to ask any of her friends if they would like to say anything about my wonderful mother or wish to attend the funeral please could you email me [email protected]
It is with great sadness and grief that I must inform you all of my mothers passing on Thursday the 9th of July. She did not have heart problems as it has been mentioned so in other social posts and we still haven’t been given a cause of death and may not know for up to 9 months.
Great to be able to be at the launch of @KatrinaNaomi ‘s ‘Wild Persistence’ just now with @SerenBooks Katrina as beautiful as ever reading wonderful poems! 💜

📣UPDATE—Zoom Reading—27 May📣
We believe it’s important to pay artists, esp now, but we received a number of emails requesting a reduced price.
While all poets will be paid for their time & work, we also recognise that times are hard for many so have reduced the price to £7.
On #WorldBeeDay2020, we're imagining swarms of bees buzzing around lavender fields that once covered large parts of #Battersea. In @xilaire's poem Lavender Harvest (p89 of our book) a woman picking lavender finds 'bees pollinate my dreams'
