It was a pleasure to hand over £1000 to the Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre. The centre has provided space and facilities which help run our homeless project. Money will be used to help the destitute. @CRMCCov@AsSuffa@sabir_zazai@coventrycc@HomelessLink

@coventrycc shame on you - Couldn't believe my eyes. Fined £200 for begging. Previously sent to prison for not paying fines.
Shocking!!! More examples on how not to deal with the #homelessness issue. @Coventry2021 lets sort out what really matters. #Coventry#Charity#Shameful
A comment form a homeless person was - you actually cannot sleep in this weather . We don’t sleep all night - we keep walking in the cold to keep warm. #homeless#support#keepwarm

Stories like this are becoming more common, but that doesnt make it right or something we should just accept. As the cold approaches over next few days, think about those less fortunate out in the cold and think... What can you do to make a difference?
This is the reason organisations like ours are so needed. The demand continues to increase. The least we can all do is start by accepting that it is an issue in our society which needs to be addressed. #Homlessness#Coventry#AssistTheNeedy#Charity

Teams were on the ground today at the Nolungile CHC Clinic in Khayelitsha in an attempt to make the wait for treatment more bearable for patients in attendance. The teams distributed snack packs and bottled water together with onsite doctor and local Councillor Zahid Badroodien.
So grateful for the piles of presents we received! We can't tell you how much this means to our service users and their children! https://t.co/YsTuBmi04A
Forgive the blurry image, but we wanted to say a huge thank you to the anonymous person who's stopped by @CRMCCov this morning to drop a number of #Christmas gifts off for refugee #children.
P.S look closely, and you can see our very own 'Father Christmas' in the background!
