What is Juneteenth? Juneteenth is a federal holiday commemorating the freedom of enslaved African-Americans in Galveston, TX on June 19, 1865. Presently, Juneteenth honors Black culture and tradition, and is a jubilant, joyous occasion to celebrate community, togetherness. #BLM
