REGISTRY CLOSED UPDATE 1/4/2021- The Suffolk County Registry of Deeds will be closed Monday January 4th due to a deep COVID-19 cleaning of the Brooke Courthouse. We will only be accepting recordings remotely, no drop box is available. We will reopen tomorrow, January 5.

The Registry will be open on Monday, September 21, 2020 for e-recording and the recording of all Recorded and Registered Land submitted via mail of Drop-Box.
The Edward W. Brooke Courthouse is closed on Friday, September 18, 2020 in remembrance of the passing of Chief Justice Ralph D. Gants of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. ⬇️
As a result, the Suffolk Registry of Deeds will be closed and the only available form of recording is the electronic recording of Recorded Land – no Mail, Walk-In/Drop-Box recordings or Registered Land will be recorded. ⬇️

Because of a Covid 19 exposure, the Edward Brooke Courthouse and the Suffolk Registry of Deeds are closed to the public and employees today.
As a result, the Registry of Deeds can only record recorded land documents submitted electronically.
There is no one present at the Registry of Deeds to answer phone calls.
